AEROSPACE Full Scope Completion Management Service
The Services encompasses full time representation of the Completion Program Manager on behalf of the owner from initial design to final delivery of the completed aircraft.
The initial up front definition, development and refinement of the completion specification, layout package, and design interface is one of the most critical elements in planning the entire completion process. Listed below are a few thoughts for your consideration.
Scope of Work – Completion Management and Co-Ordination:
- AEROSPACE Provide input during the Contractual Negotiations as it relates to certification, performance guarantees, service bulletins, inspections, warranty provisions, in service considerations, pricing, inspections of cabinetry, sub-contractor responsibilities, documentation and deliverables.
- Assist in the Specification Development - Ensure that your expectations in terms of quality, operational requirements, technology requirement, design details, functionality are clearly identified within the written specifications and layout package.
- Interface and co-ordinate with the owner, Designer, and the Completions Centre's design group to ensure that your expectations are clearly understood and implemented.
- Participate in the Engineering Critical Design Reviews with the owner to ensure that the installation and assembly drawings reflect the requirements specified in the approved Layout packages.
- Monitor the milestone schedule provided by the Completion Centre.
- Manage all Completion Centre compliance with contractual terms.
- Participate in all reviews of cabinets, seats and major installations and identify any deficiencies early in the program to ensure timely corrective action. Maintain an active log of all discrepancies or deviations detected.
- Review and monitor the quality of the interior completion installations (to include aesthetics, design, construction and fit) to ensure that the Aircraft complies with the Specification and drawing package, from an Interior Completion perspective.
- Monitor snag lists, changes and modifications and recommend fixes associated with the interior completion.
- Participate in flight tests and cold soak flights along with other representatives of the Company to detect any abnormalities associated with the interior completion and ensure that the interior completion conforms to the Specification in flight.
- Participate in the Delivery and Acceptance of the aircraft, co-ordinate any and all Deviations from the approved documentation package, assist in the preparation of all "Delivery Documentation" and entry into service.
